DUAL FILM CARRIAGE SYSTEM
For use in the toughest packaging applications in the Industry like Brick & Block, Clay and Concrete Roofing Tiles, Paver Stones And Heavy Bags of Soil, Fertilizer etc..

Some of the toughest packaging applications in the Industry like Brick & Block, Concrete and Clay Roofing Tiles, Paver Stones and Bagged products like Fertilizer, Cement, Soil etc.. require very high holding forces, where very heavy loads and sharp corners normally causes huge problems when wrapping.

This dual film once prestretched forms a strong bonded film that allows extremely high film tensions compared to standard prestretch. One film is slit and passes through adjustable roping system while the second film stays full web. They merge together and pass through the prestretch system resulting in a bonded film. As the system applies very high film tension with each revolution, less film is required which greatly reduces your film cost. Wrapping time is also reduced resulting in higher throughput. This very cost effective system creates the ultimate in film strength with 2 layer of film that is almost impossible to break.

  Brick & Block Industry

Roof tiles   Pavers   Bricks

BRICK & BLOCK, CLAY AND CONCRETE ROOFING TILES, PAVER STONES ETC...

THE APPLICATION
Bricks, Paver Stones, Roof Tiles etc.. are all very problematic products to package and secure. Due to his nature the product is very abrasive, with sharp corners and very heavy, increasing the requirement for packaging and securing the load. The packaged product must be transported reliably with no scratches or sign of abrasion or breakage and should be protected against elements and dust.

  THE SOLUTION
The Phoenix Dual Film Carriage System is the ideal solution where very high holding forces are required. As the system applies very high film tension with each revolution, less film is required which greatly reduces your film cost. Wrapping time is also reduced resulting in higher throughput.

How it works:
- One film web is sliced and then roped into 3 bands which creates an impossible layer to break.
- The second film is kept as a full web. Both layers are then bonded and prestretched together forming a nearly unbreakable film. This creates the ultimate in film strength as the film can not be broken. The result is a film layer that can be wrapped with extremely high film force levels to provide load retention levels not seen before. All this is done in less time and less revolutions are required to achieve even higher film force. And all without the fear of the film beak issues associated with std film application.

  Bagged Products

Fertilizer bags   Cement bags   Soil bags
HEAVY BAGGED PRODUCTS OF SOIL, FERTILIZER ETC...
THE APPLICATION
The packaging of Soil, Fertilizer and other heavy industrial products is problematic and require special handling. Heavy pallet loads are potentially hazardous and must be securely unitized and contained for transport and storage. The loads is moved by forklift or pallet jacks and the bags can suffer damage and product leakage caused by bag puncturing or improper stacking.

THE SOLUTION
The Phoenix Dual Film Carriage System apply 2 layer of film using very high film tension. One film web is sliced and then roped into 3 bands which creates an impossible layer to break, the second layer of film is kept as a full web. The result is a film layer that can be wrapped with extremely high film force levels to provide ultimate load retention.

  Agriculture

HAY BALES
THE APPLICATION
Harvesting hay can be complicated by poor drying conditions ( ex: high humidity and heavy dew) and the risk of rainfall. In an effort to avoid rain and other adverse weather conditions, hay is often baled before it is dried to recommended moisture levels, resulting in mold development and reduced forage quality. You can't apply traditional wrapping to those specific applications without the risk of damaging the load during the transport or storage due to moisture and condensation forming between the load and the wrap
.
  THE SOLUTION
The Phoenix Dual Film Carriage System provide a cost effective solution where air flow is required to help prevent condensation from building up under the film. It applies 2 layer of film using very high film tension. One film web is sliced and then roped into 3 bands which creates an impossible layer to break, the second layer of film is kept as a full web. The result is a film layer that can be wrapped with extremely high film force levels to provide ultimate load retention.

The result is a wrapped load that has the required load retention to keep the pallet safe during transport and storage, while having enough air gaps to allow the load to breathe easily, keeping the product fresh and condensation free.

  Pails, Liquids Containers

PLASTIC PAILS FOR PAINT OR OTHER LIQUIDS
THE APPLICATION
Transporting, stacked pails of liquids can become very problematic. The pails are usually partially full and the liquids inside is sloshing from side-to-side, when applying a lateral acceleration, by cornering for example, the moving liquid inside will make the stacked pails moving as well, if not properly secured, the loads will start moving and shifting, eventually becoming loose from the wrapping that hold them and start rolling all over the floor in the truck.
  THE SOLUTION
The key to avoid financial losses caused by this kind of damages is to provide a safe, strong and secure film load retention, to solve this problem Phoenix developed the "Dual Film Carriage System".The Phoenix Dual Film Carriage System is the ideal solution where very high holding forces are required.

Is the ideal solution that provide an exceptional film load retention for wrapping and securing very heavy loads like Brick & Block, Clay and Concrete Roofing Tiles, Paver Stones And Heavy Bags of Soil, Fertilizer, Horticultural Bagged Products, Pails of Liquids etc..
